The hardware architecture, control protocol and functions of Neutrino Series and Solaro Series processors are very different. Therefore the two processor series must be separated into two project files. Learn more here.

To convert from a Neutrino project into a Solaro project, the procedure is simple.

  1. Open up the Neutrino project file.
  2. Double click on the Neutrino DSP module to open the device schematic.
  3. Click + drag a selection box around all DSP blocks that you'd like to copy into the Solaro device.
  4. With the items highlighted, right click and select Copy.
  5. Close the Neutrino project file.
  6. Click File > New Project.
  7. Create a new Solaro Series project.
  8. In Project View, click and drag a Solaro DSP device into the work area.
  9. Configure the cards accordingly.
  10. Double click the DSP module to open the design schematic.
  11. Click + drag a selection box around the output modules. Use the keyboard arrows or mouse to move the modules aside, creating a spacious work area.
  12. Right click on the empty work area and select Paste. The copied DSP blocks will display.
  13. Re-wire the DSP modules accordingly.

To copy touch controls in the Neutrino project into the Solaro project, the same procedure is used.
Please note that this procedure only copies the design layout. The controls will need to be reprogrammed in the new design.

  1. Open up the Neutrino project file.
  2. Double click the touch control to view the control pages.
  3. Click + drag a selection box around the control page elements.
  4. With the items highlighted, right click and select Copy.
  5. Close the project and open the Solaro project file.
  6. Click and drag an XTouch Control from the Component Library list.
  7. Double click the touch control.
  8. Click Resize Panel to adjust the page size for your device.
  9. Right click the touch control work area and select Paste. The copied design elements will be displayed.
