Lost Xilica Designer project file password

Lost DSP password
If a device is locked with a password, the device will need to be reset.

For Neutrino Series DSP,

  1. Power down the unit. 
  2. At the back of the unit is an IP Reset button.
  3. Using a small, pointed object, push in and hold down the IP Reset button.
  4. Holding the IP Reset button, power up the unit. 
  5. Wait 10 seconds and release the IP Reset button.
  6. Allow the device to power on completely. This may take up to several minutes.
  7. Once the device is completely powered on, it will display In Xilica Designer's Network View as connected and online.
  8. Notice that the pad lock icon on the device module has been removed. The device is now unlocked. 

Retrieve design file

In Network View, select the device.
In the top right corner, select "Create New Project from Selected Device(s)". 

The device will automatically be placed in Project view.
Right click the device and select "Import from Physical Device...".

Double click the DSP module.
The device schematic will display the project file from the device.

For Solaro QR1 DSP,

  1. Power down the unit.
  2. Power up the unit.
  3. Upon power up, the blue Operate LED will blink.
  4. Wait for the Operate LED to stop blinking and remain a solid color. 
  5. Using a small, pointed object, push in and hold down the IP Reset button.
  6. Wait 10 seconds and release the IP Reset button.
  7. The device will display In Xilica Designer's Network View as connected and online. Notice that the pad lock icon on the device module has been removed. The device is now unlocked.
